UPDATE 2 – 11 OCTOBER 2017…

From September 22 until now, October 11 2017, our dedicated field team continue to deliver essential supplies for refugees such as food supplies, cooking utensils, hygiene supplies, mineral water, baby & infant needs, etc. Apart from distributing logistic aid, we are also doing health outreach for those in need and assisting our students to continue their study in public schools located near their camp location. In total, we are currently supporting refugees in 39 locations in Karangasem, Buleleng, Bangli, Gianyar and Badung regencies.

Thanks so much for your donations so far that have enable us to help them. We will continue doing our best with our dedicated field team and our small admin team here in Denpasar.

UPDATE 1- 25 SEPTEMBER 2017…

Today is the 4th day we have delivered tons of essential supplies to the Mount Agung refugee camps. Many of them evacuated themselves to the locations that were not in a predetermined camp by the government so most of them did not yet get any help from the government. Yesterday, 24th September, our team found at least 770 of them in 9 locations and delivered the supplies in our 2 filled up 4WD pickup trucks.

Thanks so much for your donations so far that have enable us to help them. We will continue doing our best with our dedicated field team and our small admin team here in Denpasar. A major problem that we are trying to solve is provision of portable toilets, where lack of availability is a big problem because most locations do not have any sanitation/toilet facilities. We expect to get news on these tomorrow
