On 17 August 2025, all of Indonesia celebrated the 80th year of the Republic’s Independence with a spirit of unity and national pride. With the theme “United, Sovereign, Prosperous People, Progressive Indonesia,” this day serves as a reminder of the importance of unity and sovereignty as the foundation for the nation’s progress.
In line with EBPP annual tradition, all schools took part in commemorating this occasion with great enthusiasm and spirit, starting with a solemn and meaningful flag-raising ceremony, followed by a series of exciting competitions, including traditional games, arts, and educational challenges involving all students and teachers. Key highlights though were dramas, dance and our vibrant school bands!
After scoring and evaluating all competitions, the overall champion title was awarded to Bunga School, followed by Cegi in second place, Pengalusan third, Darmaji came fourth, and Manikaji School in fifth. These events reflected genuine sportsmanship and friendly rivalry, showing the spirit of togetherness among EBPP school communities.
Aligned with the theme, this Independence Day also reinforces the belief that every child in Indonesia, regardless of gender, geography or background, has the right to access quality education. From urban to remote villages, education must be equitable and inclusive.
EBPP schools exemplify how this belief is being realized. Despite many challenges, the will to learn remains strong. These schools stand as a testament to the power of opportunity and support in nurturing future generations who are ready to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
Long live the Republic of Indonesia! Let us remain united in spirit and purpose as we build a more inclusive, empowered, and prosperous future for all.
