My name is Jama and I am one of the five Darmaji School students who graduated from EBPP this year. I plan to continue my studies for a Diploma 1 program majoring in Housekeeping. After that, I hope to pursue a career working on a cruise ship.

I began studying at EBPP in junior high school and gained many valuable experiences during my time here. My friends always encouraged me to stay motivated, and I also joined the student organization (OSIS) to improve my public speaking skills.

One of my favorite programs was the EMpower extracurricular class, learning about reproductive health, gender equality, and how to give presentations. I also very much enjoyed the organic agriculture lessons, especially learning how to convert sloping infertile land into terraces and how to make liquid and solid organic fertilizer from natural, chemical-free materials.

Studying at EBPP brought significant changes to my family. In the past, my parents didn’t support education, but now they understand its importance for their children’s future. They often talk with me about what I’ve learned when I come home. EBPP also provided us with free school supplies, uniforms, and learning materials, which helped us a lot.

I am deeply grateful to the Ganesha Foundation, USA, for supporting my education throughout my studies at EBPP. I have learned so many things I never knew before. Without this school, I might not have had the opportunity to continue my education. I hope EBPP can continue its programs to help more children achieve their dreams through education.
