EBPP is delighted to announce the start of our 2024 Ear Nose Throat (ENT) program, in collaboration with YPK Bali through their “Bali Rungu” program, to safeguard the ear health of more than 1,100 students from all 15 sub-villages in Ban.
On 20 February, we conducted our first ENT program at SD 5 Ban, the Belong government elementary school. Bali Rungu’s ENT specialist, dr. Debby and dr. Elviana, examined 85 students and providing immediate treatment and/or medication for students with problems, such as earwax removal and ear infections. On completion, they gave students informative booklets "Healthy Ears, Prevent Deafness," with comprehensive information on maintaining good ear health, including illustrative visuals and engaging colouring activities to make learning enjoyable.
The continuation of the ENT program highlights our commitment to continuously promoting health and well-being in Ban Village. By providing essential ear health services and education, we are empowering students to take proactive steps towards maintaining their ear health and ensuring a brighter future. We look forward to continuing this program and making a lasting impact on the lives of the children in our communities.
