Last week, EBPP distributed 320 iron tablets to our 64 junior and senior high female students as part of our ongoing effort to prevent anaemia in the current generation and stunting in the next. Each student received a five-week supply of iron tablets to support their growth and overall health.

For some of our new students, as this was their first experience receiving iron supplements, to help them understand their importance, we conducted an educational session on how iron supports adolescent health and the potential consequences of iron deficiency.

To make learning more engaging, we played a snakes-and-ladders style game, where students rolled the dice and answered questions about anaemia each time they landed on a challenge box. The classroom was filled with laughter and excitement, and we were thrilled to see how well our students understood the topic!

Through these small but consistent efforts, we continue to empower our students with both knowledge and nutrition, paving the way for a healthier future for East Bali’s young generation.
