National Education Day Celebration at EBPP

On 2 May 2026, EBPP once again celebrated Indonesia’s National Education Day (Hardiknas) with an engaging program where students didn’t just attend, but actively participated. From the start, the atmosphere was energetic, with students moving between competitions and performances.

Academic quiz contests, from elementary to senior high levels, tested knowledge and teamwork, while painting, chess, and debate added creativity and strategy. Manikaji stood out at the elementary and junior high levels, while Pengalusan led at the senior high level.

The stage soon became the highlight.

Performances opened with the Balinese dance “Tari Merak Angelo”, followed by poetry, including “Heroes Behind the Light of Knowledge” (Pahlawan Dibalik Cahaya Ilmu), and English pieces presented by the English Club.

A Darma Gita performance—a traditional Balinese religious chant—brought a calm and cultural element, followed by an excellent music collaboration by our talented students, blending modern and traditional styles.

The program continued with song performances, including Thank You, My Teacher (Terima Kasih Guruku), My Village is Beautiful (Desaku Indah), Protect Our Motherland (Jaga Ibu Pertiwi), Education is the Key to Success (Pendidikan Kunci Kesuksesan), and Dream (Mimpi).

The day concluded with the announcement of winners and an awarding session, bringing to  close another very entertaining program that combined learning, creativity, and performance. More than a celebration, it showed how students can grow when given the space to participate, perform, and express themselves with confidence.
