Painting is one of the art forms that not only beautifies life, but also plays an important role in the development of creativity and fine motor skills of students. In a world increasingly focused on technology and cognitive skills, painting offers an escape that allows students to explore their creative side and express feelings, thoughts, and ideas that may be difficult to convey through words.

As an art teacher, I feel a calling to help students discover and hone their artistic talents. To achieve this, I chose the theme "tradition and culture" as the centre for learning painting using acrylic paint. This process begins with providing the necessary tools and materials, such as pencils, acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, and canvases. Once everything is ready, I guide the students to make a preliminary sketch of their chosen idea, then proceed to the colouring stage according to their own imagination. Through this exploration, they learn that art has no boundaries, and every brush stroke is part of their creative journey.

I hope that by teaching good painting techniques, students can continue to develop into creative individuals, especially for those who have an interest in art. Through art, each individual learns that they have a valuable voice and a unique way to contribute to the world around them.
