At EBPP, we believe that teachers must keep learning in order to give the best education to our students. I recently had the opportunity to join two professional development workshops, with my colleague Indriani, at the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Bali, a leading English language training center in Indonesia. These workshops were designed to improve our English teaching skills so that we can provide more effective lessons for EBPP students.

The first workshop, Creating Engaging Activities and Lesson Plans, focused on how to design lesson plans that match students’ needs and include fun, interactive activities. The second workshop, Effective Methods for Teaching Speaking and Listening, gave us practical strategies to help students gain confidence in speaking and to develop better listening skills.

Both workshops were very beneficial. I learned how to plan lessons step by step, set clear learning goals, and make English classes more enjoyable through games and activities. I also gained useful techniques to encourage students to speak more, overcome challenges in the classroom, and strengthen their listening comprehension.

These new skills are not just for me, they will directly benefit EBPP students in the classroom. By applying what I learned, I can make English lessons more interactive, interesting, and effective, helping our students build the language skills they need for a brighter future.

We are deeply grateful for this training opportunity and for the support that makes such professional development possible. With better skills, we can give our students the education they deserve.
