By Ni Komang Bintang, EBPP English teacher
My name is Bintang, and I joined EBPP as a new English teacher two months ago. I teach grades 4, 5, and 6, marking my first teaching experience post-college graduation.
My biggest challenge is ensuring my students easily understand the materials as it is their first time to learn English. To address this, I research the next day's lessons and seek effective teaching techniques. Teaching elementary students requires extra energy and patience compared to higher levels.
I strive to create a fun learning atmosphere to keep students focused. For example, I use the "Alphabet Song" to help students remember English letters and guide them in writing correct pronunciations on the board. This builds their confidence in answering questions.
I aim to gain valuable experiences at EBPP, improve my teaching skills, and positively contribute to my students' development.
