From Bamboo Walls to a Pristine Classroom

Just a few weeks ago, the learning center at EBPP Daya School was a simple classroom with flimsy woven bamboo, walls - and no windows. During strong winds and heavy rain, the room was noisy, not so comfortable, and less conducive for learning.
Today, it stands renewed—a stronger, safer, and more welcoming place where students can learn, create, and grow with confidence.
What makes this renovation even more special is that the students themselves helped bring it to life. Working alongside the EBPP infrastructure team, they took part in the renovation process, contributing their time and effort to improve their own learning environment. Through this experience, they gained not only practical skills but also a deep sense of ownership and pride in their school.
After weeks of hard work, the transformation is complete. The classroom that once relied on good weather has been rebuilt with solid walls, creating a saferf, more comfortable and secure space for learning.
This project would not have been possible without the generous support of Meira Digman, Terri, and Rick Smith from the USA. Thanks to your kindness, our students now have more than just a renovated building—they have a place where they can dream bigger and build brighter futures.
Inspired by this transformation? Your support can help create more opportunities for children in Ban Village to build brighter futures. Join us in making a difference!
