As the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year comes to a close, we have prepared academic reports to ensure accountability to parents. These reports provide a comprehensive overview of each student’s progress throughout the semester.
We distributed the academic report books in all 6 EBPP schools on Friday, 30th June from 9am, to all students and their parents, who also participated in parents’ engagement survey and focus group discussion sessions, attended by parents, the school principal, EBPP teachers and students.
Before distributing the report books, we held a discussion session of the students’ development, where parents and teachers discussed the student’s progress at school during the semester, when parents were able to learn about their child’s development in both academic and non-academic areas.
We then had the parent engagement survey and focus group discussions, which aimed to involve parents in their child’s learning, both academically and non-academically. After the discussion and survey sessions were completed, it was time to distribute the students’ report books. The school principals personally handed the report books to the students, followed by a motivational talk with the students to study harder in the upcoming semester, and congratulated all students for advancing to the next grade. •
