Proudly, I was elected as Student Council Leader

Hello, I am Murta, a 10th grade Pengalusan senior high school student. I really wanted to be the EBPP Student Council (OSIS) leader, because I want to be a brave, disciplined, and responsible person, so I signed up as a candidate for the 2023-2024 period. On May 3rd all candidates participated in a debate to convey their visions and mission, after which the judges (teachers) who joined also gave some challenging questions - but I was still able to answer them confidently.

May 8th was a very stressful day for me because it was the election day, which we held at Tenganan Pegringsingan village, near Candidasa, and in the end, when the result from total 5 candidates were announced, I got the most votes! Wow unbelievable; I was so proud and happy to be chosen.

Finally, on May 19th I was officially appointed as the new student council leader; I never thought that I would be able to become a leader at the EBPP school. In the future, I want to make this organization as a place to develop students’ creativity and reduce students’ drop out of school. Here I am also very grateful to my friends and teachers for giving me the trust to become the student council leader for EBPP schools. •
