Last week, 9 EBPP students from the extracurricular music program took an exciting step in their musical journey as they recorded a song they wrote, together with our music teacher, Edi.

In addition to the recording process experience, our young musicians also gained valuable lessons from the professional studio team, who guided them through different aspects of music creation, including song structure, lyric writing, and the importance of teamwork as a music group. This experience helped them understand that creating music is not only about the performance, but also about collaboration, creativity, and sharing meaningful messages.

The song, created earlier this year, carries a message about protecting the environment. Through lyrics such as “Ayo, ayo jaga bumi kita dari sampah merajalela” (Let’s protect our Earth from the growing problem of waste), the students share their hopes for a cleaner and healthier future, encouraging people to become more responsible in caring for their natural environment.

We are grateful to Pak Chandra, who generously welcomed the students to his team’s studio and gave them this unique opportunity to experience professional music recording.

Stay tuned to hear the students’ voices and their message for a greener future!
