The knowledge gained at EBPP’s Manikaji Community Learning Garden is now being put into practice by local farmers in Manikaji Asti. This month, three farmers have started applying regenerative agriculture methods in their own home gardens.

Over the past few weeks, the farmers worked together to carefully sow seeds, and nurtured them until they grew into healthy seedlings ready for transplanting to their newly prepared terraces. This week marks an important step forward as they moved their young plants into the soil — including green mustard, lettuce, pakcoy, and tomatoes — in gardens prepared using the techniques from their hands-on training sessions.

With their seedlings now planted, the farmers will continue caring for their crops and observing how they grow with regenerative agriculture practices. Each step helps them strengthen their skills, build confidence, and improve how they manage their home food gardens.

Stay tuned to follow their growing journey! 🌱
