Hello, my name is Komang Nyos. I am an EBPP alumnus from 2022 and a scholarship recipient currently in my sixth semester at Dhyana Pura University, Bali, majoring in Public Health.

Returning to EBPP as a guest teacher was a deeply meaningful experience. It gave me the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences from university life while encouraging students to stay motivated and confident about continuing their education.

During my semester break from 4–6 February, I returned to my village and taught at several EBPP schools alongside other teachers. I shared topics such as the dangers of smoking for teenagers, basic public speaking, and motivation to pursue higher education.

One of my strongest impressions was on my first day at Manikaji School. The students welcomed me warmly and were curious, as they didn’t yet know I was an EBPP alumnus. I asked them to introduce themselves in front of the class, and I was impressed by their courage, confidence, and willingness to try.

We discussed the dangers of smoking and shared ideas together. At the end of the lesson, students explained what they had learned, helping them practice speaking and expressing their thoughts. Their enthusiasm was inspiring.

I experienced the same positive energy at Darmaji and Daya Schools, where students eagerly asked questions—not only about lessons, but also about university life. Despite limited time and facilities, their motivation and potential were clear.

Although I have not yet graduated, teaching at EBPP reminded me of my own journey and the importance of giving back. EBPP was where I learned and grew, and now it is where I can contribute.

My message to EBPP students is simple: don’t be afraid to dream. Keep learning, stay motivated, and believe in yourselves. I hope one day they will continue their studies and help build a better future for Desa Ban.
