As the new semester begins, schools play an essential role in kickstarting students’ enthusiasm for getting back to learning, with a key focus at EBPP being to strengthening literacy! Literacy goes beyond reading and writing—it also includes understanding information, thinking critically, and expressing ideas clearly.

At the start of this second semester, literacy activities at EBPP schools serve as a strong foundation for creating a positive learning culture. Through regular reading of library books, inspirational stories, and informative texts, students are encouraged to broaden their knowledge and sharpen their thinking skills. These activities are carried out in their free time, helping students develop the habit of using their time productively.

Literacy activities also help students become more active and confident. Short discussions, writing summaries, and retelling stories provide valuable opportunities to improve communication and comprehension skills. As a result, classrooms become more engaging and interactive.

By strengthening literacy from the start of the semester, students are better prepared, more motivated, and equipped with essential skills for both academic success and everyday life.
