April 23 is World Book Day, an important time to foster a love of reading, especially among students. For me, this day feels even more meaningful because my school now has a comfortable and well-equipped library. The presence of this library has brought a positive change to our learning habits.

Now, I can read more freely and enjoyably. The school provides a wide variety of books, from entertaining fiction stories to informative non-fiction that broadens our knowledge. The quiet and welcoming atmosphere of the library also helps me stay focused and truly enjoy reading, even in a world filled with digital distractions.

Not only me, but my friends have also started to develop the same interest. Some of them spend their free time in the library, either reading there or borrowing books to take home. It is a wonderful sight to see, as reading is no longer just an obligation, but something we genuinely enjoy.

I hope that in this fast-paced digital age, supported by technology but not replaced by it, students’ literacy skills in our school will continue to improve. Furthermore, I believe that every child deserves equal opportunities to access books and develop a love for reading. In this way, a strong reading culture can grow and remain important even in the modern digital era.

I encourage all students to make reading a daily habit, to explore the world through books, and to never stop learning, because every page we read brings us one step closer to a brighter future.
